The brilliant minds of doctors, teachers, artists and executives are hiding all over the country in low income neighborhoods and poverty stricken homes. Many believe they have no hope of a future beyond what they grew up in. This population of youth may never have a chance to reach their potential because they are simply unable to afford the education required to cultivate their amazing talents. Many highly intellligent children need special mentoring to overcome learning challenges such as dyslexia, attention deficit and difficulties in reading comprehension. These learning programs can be costly and the lower income families simply cannot afford to give their children the extra training they need to overcome these challenges in learning. Without the benefits of these learning programs, these children can become so discouraged and lost, feeling as if they are dumb, when in reality they are likely higher in intelligence than the average person of their age.
